Surf Life Saving Club is looking forward to continue to offering our program for children of different abilities and who may require additional support.

The program will be held on a Sunday morning and is run alongside our Nipper’s program.

The program is modified and designed for children and young adults 6 years and over with additional needs including, Attention Deficit Disorder, Down’s Syndrome, Autism, Asperger’s as well as physical and intellectual disabilities.

We believe that all people have a right to learn how to enjoy the beach environment safely and have fun.

Maroubra Marlins is run over 8 weeks. The activities include water familiarisation, water and sun safety, traditional beach games and team activities, beach sprints, flags, swimming and board paddling.

We work on a ratio of 1 nipper to one coach. This ensures that the program can be tailored to meet everyone’s needs and skill level both in and out of the water.

We offer lots of fun in a positive and nurturing environment.

We do also insist that at least one parent or carer is on the beach at all times while the session is being run.

The program cost is $50.00 per person and includes a pink vest and nippers cap as well as a club t- shirt that will be provided at the end of the program.
