Proficiency and Skills Maintenance

Skills Maintenance Dates 2019/2020 Season

All active patrolling members and competitors must complete an annual skills maintenance for the following awards currently held:

Bronze Medallion (BM) / Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)
Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate (ARTC) and Spinal Management
IRB Driver and Crew

All active patrolling members must be proficient by the 31st  December each year.
Being proficient is important in ensuring all members have the most up to date skills and knowledge in the award(s) they hold. It is imperative that they are completed by the above date, both for patrol members and competitors.

Skills Maintenance Calendar

Bronze Medallion & Surf Rescue Certificate 

This season during the months of October and November we will be conducting our skills maintenance and proficiency. 

Please come prepared to complete this and allow 45 minutes to do so.

In addition there will be a limited number of additional dates for our non patrol members and those people unable to attend the first month of patrols.

Note: Spinal and ART will commence at 8 am  Bronze Proficiency will commence at 9 am
