Maroubra has 15 patrols, each patrol will normally be required to perform 9 -10 rostered patrols per season; each between 4 to 5 hours. The Patrolling season starts at the end of September and finishes in April.
The roster is developed to provide an equal share of Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as well as afternoon and morning patrols.
Maroubra SLSC prides itself on its strong patrol numbers, making the whole experience of patrolling the beach a very supportive and enjoyable one. If you are unable to make your patrol, you will need to arrange for a substitute.
Please read Maroubra Surf Club’s patrol handbook for further information about what to do and your responsibilities. You can also read about the many benefits of joining Maroubra SLSC, how we communicate and care for our members in the membership handbook below.
